photo emotion metaphors

So in Suzie's lesson we were given 45 minutes to walk around taking photos of things we felt were representative of a specific emotion. The emotions I did were based around the various feelings I felt when I left home to come to university 206 miles away. These feelings were anxiety, worry, scared and just general negative feelings. It was of course due to the fact I'm so close to my family and now I'm so far away so I felt a bit lost my first few months here.
I feel as if these photos represent these feelings quite well as they are quite dark, filled with emotion, deep and get you thinking about all the emotions involved. I mainly chose to take photos within halls because it's where I live, and my first two months in halls were so bad I ended up having panic attacks. So I think the loneliness shown in the second photo really shows this.
